👋🏻 Chronic Oversharer, here!

Oh, sorry. I mean - Hi! You can call me Jayme (she/they). You can also call me the "Master of Wordsmithing" (omg, you're way too kind) or "that person that always makes me feel things" (my bad!).

I could tell you I'm a parent. I could tell you I'm a writer. I could tell you I'm a Scorpio Stellium (WATCH OUT). All of these things would be correct and accurate. But aren't we all so much more than a handful of nouns??

I love putting my experiences into words and listening as others do the same. I fiercely believe that storytelling and sharing our lives and feelings with one another is what will truly bring this world together.

I prefer to dive straight into the deep end. Let's talk about family members dying, friends who stomped on our hearts, mountain ranges that have made us sob at sunset and that memory that constantly tells you how you should feel shame for the rest of your life.

My writing feels like you're sitting around a bonfire with your favorite friend and my wish is you walk away from my words with a deeper understand of being human.

Also into collaging, drawing, painting, dance parties, and whatever shenanigans my kids are interested in at the moment.

Get in touch

I wasn't kidding when I said I love connecting with others through stories. Shoot me a message! Pop in an say hello. Tell me your greatest fear, your most prideful achievement or what you think the sky would taste like if you could scoop it into a bowl.

Interested in having me write a piece for your publication? Speak at your event? Sing happy birthday to your mom? Just say what's up? I'd love to hear from you!
